I'm sitting in our wonderful retro '70's living room in Vermont, designed by my dear husband Sandy, and only recently outfitted with the magical service of the Internet by my son Alex who just turned 28 and has been spending time here this summer before he takes off for Oxford University in Sept where he'll be getting a Masters degree in African Studies. So what a great idea gmail just gave me of opening a blog. Listening to a solo silver flute on the mountaintop radio, and imagining sharing my photographs with my buddies through this celestial communicator, my computer. Ah, the 21st century...
